Skincare Pads vs Serum: How the Formats Differ
Share
Skincare pads and serums can both be used as targeted cosmetic steps, but the formats are different. Understanding that difference makes it easier to decide how each product fits into a routine.
What is a serum?
A serum is typically a liquid or gel product applied directly to the skin. Formulas vary widely, so the ingredient list and directions matter more than the word serum alone.
What is a skincare pad?
Pad formats can also vary. Some are pre-soaked. BARAVITA Fine-Fiber Pads are dry before use and are activated with water on damp skin. The individual pads are designed for selected facial areas rather than dispensing a liquid across the whole face.
Do you need to choose only one?
Not necessarily. A routine can contain different formats, but more layers do not automatically make it better. Follow the instructions for each product and avoid unnecessary stacking when several products serve a similar purpose.
